Craig asked his mom for her favorite varieties of apples, pears, and apricots, and that’s what we planted. Though Theresa is gone, her orchard lives on in our gardens. The collection represents all root propagation by our own Deanna Buvala, and consists of recommended old varieties appropriate to thrive in our climate zone. The stunning rose collection consists of Rugosa, Centifolia, Bourbon, Gallica, Hybrid Perpetual, and many more roses highlighted and glorious in June! A sight to be seen, the garden is beautiful in spring as well, with fruit tree blossoms and naturalized Narcissus, Scilla, and Camassia blooms abound.
When to the new home of our company offices, the basis of our fruit collection was an inherited open lawn with remnant orchard trees, including peaches (so exciting!).
