Rustic Kitchen Garden

With the established deer population, effectively enclosing the space was critical to the success of the garden. By compartmentalizing raised planting beds filled with organic soil, the crops remained protected accessible for the gardener. The design also incorporates permanent espalier fruit trees and berry bushes to offer a wide variety of seasonal crops. A rustic arbor was added for shaded seating as a refuge to escape the midsummer heat while tending to the garden.
